Letter to Buyers

Dear Buyer,

Welcome home!

We purchased 504 Huntington in 2004. We instantly fell in love with the location and layout of this townhouse. Its small yard, basement, garage, and plenty of storage, made it the perfect transition from apartment living to homeownership (or possibly the reverse for those downsizing from a house to maintenance free living).

Location, Location, Location

We love how convenient this home is to everything. Downtown Albany is just 6 miles away and Downtown Troy is only 10 miles away. You can walk to the East Greenbush Library and the YMCA, and Columbia High School is right around the corner. Grocery shopping, Target, and Home Depot are just 2 miles away.  Yet, all this convenience is in a quiet neighborhood.

We love the extra living space provided by the den on the first floor. The bedrooms upstairs are a good size as well. The Master Bedroom has two closets (one walk in) that provide plenty of storage. The basement is also large, and has a bank of closets on one side, perfect for hiding away your holiday decorations.  The unit is in a very private location, with a slightly concealed front door and porch, and a large back deck with mature trees that hide the retirement community next door. Talk about quiet neighbors!

The Community

504 Huntington is part of the Briaridge Homeowners Association.  There are just 36 homes in the neighborhood, and many are original owners, which is a testament to what a great place this is to live. Did we mention there is a community pool with a club house just down the street? The association takes care of exterior maintenance – snow shoveling, lawn mowing/raking, trash removal, and exterior painting. They even allow some customization of the exterior; with a few homeowners adding screened in porches to or enhancing their back decks.

We have very much enjoyed living here and know that it will be the perfect home for its new owners. We hope to welcome you to your new home soon!
